Greer Carland is based in southern Tasmania and has been making wine in Tasmania for 14 years. She has experience in North and South America, France and three states of Australia. When Greer isn’t working on Quiet Mutiny she is making her family’s wine, Tasmanian label Laurel Bank, and has been for numerous years. From 2004 – 2016 Greer was a senior winemaker with Winemaking Tasmania where she managed the sparkling and white and red table wine production, winning a number of CIRC trophy winning Rieslings, including the Best Wine of the Challenge in 2011 and the Best Dry Riesling in 2015.
